About

The 2010 Campaign is all about bringing HOPE to those in need… Distributing 2010 Footballs to children living in poverty.

Target: Distribute 2010 Balls to children in need throughout 2010 (so far 554 had been distributed).

Where: Kenya, Uganda, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Burkina Faso, Angola, Botswana……I’m sure there will be many more…

When: Leading up to the South African World Cup in 2010 Children empowering c hildren: We will be partnering with schools in the UK, offering the children the opportunity to donate footballs and educating them about what their African counter parts face on a daily basis. We will be reporting back to these schools once we return from our projects, hoping to create a culture where the UK children feel like they are part of something bigger and have been able to benefit others.

Agenda: The next nine months will see separate teams continuing to bring HOPE to children in need, by distributing a further
1,660 footballs. The distribution will focus on the very desperate children in the following countries; South Africa, Kenya, Uganda. Past projects have built up a network of orphanages & schools who will be the recipients of the footballs. The various projects will be focusing on bringing HOPE & the opportunity for these children to dream using the football World Cup (June – July 2010 in South Africa) as a catalyst and to demonstrate that the world does care for the children of Africa.

At the end of the day its all about the kids and giving them something to smile / laugh / scream & play with!
